of Health and Human Services is looking to fill the position of Deputy
National
Coordinator for Health Information Technology. Below

Friends and Colleagues,
We are eager to find a talented permanent
Deputy National
Coordinator for Health Information Technology, a Senior Executive
Service
career Federal appointment. The Deputy National Coordinator will
lead and
direct the Office of the National
Coordinator
for Health Information Technology's day-to-day operations in Washington,
DC, and will serve as the
primary advisor
to the National Coordinator on operations and management of the Office
of the National Coordinator. This person will play an integral
role in
all budgetary, financial and contractual activities, and will work
closely with
the component office directors to craft and integrate the
organization's
strategic plan into business operations. The Deputy will be
principally
responsible for improving the effectiveness of the business units,
managing the
efficient growth of the office, and planning the proper allocation of
resources
to achieve the organization's strategic goals.
The ideal candidate will be an
inspirational, confident,
personable person with strong communication and management
skills.
Candidates should have a proven track record and unquestionable
integrity.
